About this event

In addition to demonstrating excellence research, applicants for faculty positions must highlight their qualifications and philosophy for teaching and how they’d incorporate Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion principles into their research and mentoring.

In this virtual workshop, facilitators from the University of Toronto’s Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation will help attendees to understand what a teaching dossier is, what makes an effective teaching dossier and how to build one.

Additionally, this workshop, will showcase to trainees the skills needed to create impactful EDI statements. By the end of this workshop, trainees will have the knowledge and tools to draft a strong and persuasive EDI statement that highlights their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
