About this event

Future of Transportation: Rail

With over 46,000 km of track, rail operations have stretched across Canada in some form or another for centuries, moving over $300 billion worth of goods across the country. However, recent events have highlighted vulnerabilities in the rail value and supply chain. From strikes to blockades to pandemics, the rail industry has seen its fair share of challenges. Our conversation will revolve around how both passenger and freight rail companies have had to address those challenges and how Canada can continue to position itself as a leader in the rail industry. On the passenger side, we will also discuss consumer confidence and the role it plays in economic recovery.

Transport ferroviaire
