Join us for a morning of tending the land and helping with fall seed sowing while learning from Audrey's gardening wisdom on August 17th at the Spirit Park Community Gardens. Audrey will share her permaculture knowledge and introduce the group to the food and medicine she's been tending in her plot.

SCHEDULE (times are approximate):
9am Welcome, intro circle and garden tour
10am Fall seed sowing and discussion
1130am Potluck
1pm Depart
BRING: Dress for the weather. Bring a potluck item to share, plates/cutlery/cups and a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Please include a little card with ingredients if you can for folks with food sensitivities.

ABOUT Audrey Logan and Dehydration Nations
Audrey Logan, Nehiyaw/Métis Knowledge Keeper resides in Treaty 1 Territory. They helped in establishing the Spirit Park Community Gardens, a regenerative community garden rooted in Indigenous permaculture principles. Audrey also runs Dehydration Nation, a grassroots initiative that empowers individuals and communities to harness the traditional method of food dehydration and pair it with nation-to-nation trade to promote food sovereignty in Treaty 1 territory and beyond.
They are passionate about building a thriving Indigenous permaculture garden from an empty lot, climate adaptation, stewarding rare heritage seeds, traditional perspectives on cross-pollination, urban foraging, and so much more.
