The District of Squamish will host an open house to begin public engagement for the Garibaldi Estates Neighbourhood Planning Process. Participants will see a presentation about the planning process and the background context, and will have an opportunity to speak to district staff about a variety of topic areas.
The one hour event will be held twice - once from 6:30-7:30 PM and again from 8:00-9:00 PM. Each event will accommodate a maximum of 100 people.
As per the Public Health Officer orders:
- Proof of Vaccinations is not required.
- Mask will be required for all attendees.
- Registration for the event is mandatory given that we are limited to 100 people within the venue; please be prepared to show staff at the door your ticket for your event, either on your phone or printed out. Tickets can be downloaded using the link emailed upon registration.
Doors will open for the meeting at 6:15 PM and a presentation will be given at at 6:35. Following the presentation there will be an opportunity to talk to District staff members about a variety of topic areas related to the planning process and to ask questions.
The meeting will conclude at 7:30 PM in order to prepare for a second meeting covering the same content at 8:00 PM.
