Giantstock 2.000 // Three Days Of Music, Camping and Pettipasitivity

Disconnect from the outside world this labour day weekend and embrace the simple things in life with three days of music, camping and Pettipasitivity at "Giantstock."

Giantstock, the birth-child of Andre Pettipas and The Giants returns in a BIG way in its second year. The festival grounds were built on the backs of the Mason family and maritime misfits, The Stanfields (Blacktop Ball.) The location alone is worth the price of admission. A weekend long escape in the country from life’s hustle and bustle; 50 acres of waterfront property located in Merigomish, Nova Scotia.

Besides the entertainment, you'll be able to enjoy the beach, take part in activities throughout the weekend (beach volleyball, washertoss, etc.) or relax with your feet up by your campsite and enjoy some downtime with the crew around you.

The focus of the festival is to create an experience; a stress free weekend with friends (new and old) for a long goodbye to a busy summer. All of your amenities will be located close to the festival grounds. Food trucks are on site, LBR convenience store is located 3km away. We’ll also be hosting a number of artisans and vendors.

CONNECTION; simple things in life

Kick-off is Friday night. Arrive, set up your campsite, unwind and grab your lawn chair to join in on a bonfire style jam after dark. Entertainers and festival-goers will have the chance to share their music around a GIANT bonfire. Bring your instruments, best friends and a positive attitude with you.

MUSIC; let’s hear it for the entertainment

The main-stage will be lighting up mid-afternoon on Saturday with six acts performing into the late night including:

Run The River, Customer Service, Grooveback, Kasador, Andre Pettipas and The Giants ft Morgan Toney and headliner, Matt Mays.

No long weekend would be complete without “Sunday Funday.” Hop in the ocean to rejuvenate yourself from a late Saturday night then make your way to the main-stage where our host, Dougie Snakes will be doing his thing around noon (if you were at the festival in year one you will know what this is about. If not, you’re in for a treat.) We’ll be easing you into the music on Sunday afternoon with a songwriter’s circle hosted by Andre Pettipas with Kylie Fox, Kristen Martell and Landon Morris. The entertainment will roll on until late night with an eclectic lineup that includes Joe H Henry Trio, The Dandy Lions, East River Rats, Trout, Old Blood, Not Like Yesterday, Sweet Serene and Andre Pettipas and The Giants. The festival will end musically with a 2000s tribute which will include a number of the bands on Sunday’s lineup with special guests and collaborations running rampant throughout the night.
