A Body Positive Sponsored Paddle Boarding Empowerment event for Girls. Event is 2 hours, and includes Basic SUP Skills instruction, paddling on the lake, group discussions and time for play.
What can I expect from this event?
- We will be getting wet. Participants must be somewhat comfortable in/around water and be able to swim.
- Participants will be required to wear a life jacket. This is non-negotiable. One is provided, however, feel free to bring your own if you'd like.
- We will be spending some time on land reviewing safety protocol before going on the water.
- Participants go at their own pace. Not everyone will feel comfortable standing, and that's okay!
- Nevilles Point has a great dock for jumping off & picnic tables. A great opportunity to stay and swim/have lunch. Only a short drive from Lakeview Tavern which has great food and a patio.
