Join us for an evening dedicated to the celebration and acknowledgment of Osler's outstanding staff, physicians & volunteers at our Going Beyond Awards and Gala on Thursday, May 9th, 2024, at the Pearson Convention Centre.
Event Details
- All Osler staff, physicians and volunteers, plus one guest each, are invited to attend the Going Beyond Awards and Gala.
- One ticket covers one entry to this event. A plus one guest must purchase a separate ticket.
- The event is general admission with no assigned or reserved seating. Please arrive early, or on time to secure your preferred seats.
- Doors open at 5:00pm
- Long Service Award Cocktail Reception to start at 5:30pm, all guests are welcome to join the celebration to recognize long service colleagues
- Canapes and hors d'oeuvres will be served
Awards and Recognition
- Remarks from Dr. Frank Martino, Osler’s President & CEO
- Announcement and recognition of the 2024 Going Beyond Awards Winners (awards are reflective of 2023 achievements)
- Recognition and acknowledgement of long service staff, physicians and volunteers of over 25 years
Food and Drinks
- Cold canapés and hot hors d'oeuvres
- A three-course meal: (Vegetarian option available – please indicate when purchasing your ticket)
- Appetizer: Organic greens salad with raspberry vinaigrette
- Entrée: Salmon and chicken with potatoes and vegetables
- Dessert: Ice-cream crepe served with coffee or tea
- Two bottles of house wine per table
- Cash bar available for alcohol/other beverages
Entertainment
- Special Guest Speaker, Michael “Pinball” Clemons will be the entertainment at the Gala. Clemons joined the National Football League in 1987, and CFL’s Toronto Argonauts in 1989. In 2019, he was named the 20th general manager of the Toronto Argonauts. Clemons is also the founder of the Pinball Clemons Foundation, a non-profit organization that empowers youth through education. Unabashedly emotional and impactful, he shows audiences how to put heart into everything they do.
