Description

Grade 6 Flight

The simple but exciting activities that go along with this concept will draw both you and your students into the world of Flight. Our presenter will include hands on activities and experiences to help your class become engaged in the world of flight


Sky Scan and the Alberta Science Network present an Astronomy Teacher Workshop: Grade 6 Sky Science


Topics include "Our place in the universe - scales and distances", "What exactly are constellations and where do I find them", and "How to use planispheres and electronic star charts". Participants will also get an opportunity to learn how to operate a selection of telescopes, and then look at the night sky!


This event runs, rain, or shine, sleet or snow. Please come dressed for the weather!
