Join our dynamic and engaging presenter team as they lead you through activities that will bring sky science to life in your classroom. Brian Jackson is an astronomy enthusiast and stellar middle school teacher and Don Hladiuk is a night sky aficionado who shares his passion for the universe on the CBC’s Eyeopener as the ‘Starman’. Together, these presenters are a wealth of knowledge and will help you build confidence in teaching this unit. The workshop will be hosted at The Rothney Astrophysical Observatory, a unique learning facility that offers unobstructed views of the night sky.
