Green Drinks Mississauga is a volunteer run community group focused on stimulating conversation around environmental or 'green' topics, issues, and often local solutions!

Join us for another online installment of our monthly meetings hosted online.

Our schedule will follow with the meeting link once signed up.

Every 1st Thursday of every month, environmental and business professionals, entrepreneurs, students, volunteers, job-seekers, government representatives, and citizens from all over Mississauga and surrounding cities get together to make connections within the green community (we do this online and in-person once a month).

Are you:

• working for a green company, an environmental non profit or for a sustainable organization?
• working on green community initiatives?
• an entrepreneur running a business centered around eco-friendly?
• a scientist researching environmental issues?
• consulting in the environmental industry?
• volunteering for a green organization such as Ecosource, PEYA, Riverwood, CVC?
• a local politician?
• working for the City of Mississauga in the Environmental Division, Parks and Forestry or Waste Management?
• an academic teaching teaching topics related to sustainability and the environment?
• a citizen who loves living green and is passionate about eco-friendly things?

What is Green Drinks?

The short version:

An international movement of awesomeness, a self-organizing network, monthly meetups in different cities for people working/volunteering or studying green and environmental issues.

The long version:

Every month people who work in the environmental field meet up at informal sessions known as Green Drinks.

We have a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government and business. Come along and you'll be made welcome. Just say, "are you green?" and we will look after you and introduce you to whoever is there. It's a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts. Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organizing network.

These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity.
