Guelph Energy Managers - Summer 2019

Ah, summer - that magical time of sunglasses, beaches, and high cooling bills. And another meeting of Guelph Energy Managers!

Our host will be the City of Guelph. Did you know that the Wastewater Treatment Plant on Wellington Street is the City's 2nd largest energy consumer? In 2018, it accounted for 15% ($1.4M of the $9.3M) that the City spent on energy, not including transportation fuels. Once our street lights are converted to LEDs, the plant will move into first place. But the City's energy management team is working hard to drive efficiencies, and will have some stories to tell our group. We hope you'll join us!
