This is a Intermediate guided hike! 10.1 km round trip with 513m of elevation gain. The first waterfall comes up quick and the big one is at the end of our trail. Thompson creek trail is Just off Highway 11 west of Nordegg- Just before the Banff park boundary. This hike has no formal parking lot you can park beside the creek or at the Thompson creek campground or just off Highway 11. We follow the creek , crossing log bridges and hopping over some rocks, staying in the shadow of the breathtaking Cline mountain. The elevation is gradual and the terrain is varied.
Your guide will be there the whole way to offer a helping hand. It is suitable for the adventurous beginner who loves waterfalls! It is rated intermediate so you must be ready for that (gradual) 513m of elevation gain. It is a varied terrain, including a few rustic bridges over the creek and a short span of a washout beside the creek.
Please note that you must have sturdy footwear . We are on a rocky uneven surface some of the way.

Your hiking guide's priority is having a safe, fun and informative tour that connects you more to where you are visiting.
