This guided hike promises an immersive experience surrounded by awe-inspiring landscapes and the raw beauty of the Canadian Rockies. Round trip this hike is 16.3km and 654M of elevation gain.

As we ascend through lush alpine meadows, each step brings us closer to the grandeur of Burstall Pass. Towering peaks and rugged ridgelines provide a breathtaking backdrop, showcasing the untamed wilderness that characterizes this iconic region. We will be crossing a flood plain so come prepared to cross streams (Hiking sandals are very helpful)

Upon reaching Burstall Pass, be prepared to be captivated by panoramic views that stretch as far as the eye can see. Glaciers glisten in the distance, and the surrounding peaks create a dramatic tableau against the open sky. This vantage point offers the perfect opportunity to pause, reflect, and capture the natural beauty that defines Kananaskis Country.

Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a nature enthusiast seeking a new adventure, the Burstall Pass guided hike promises an immersive and enriching experience in one of Alberta's most breathtaking landscapes. Included:

  • An experienced guide.
  • A detailed supply list, information about the trail and history of the area.
  • Your guide will also bring bear safety information, bear spray and first aid kit.

Your hiking guide's priority is having a safe, fun and informative tour that connects you more to where you are visiting. Hiking time is between 4-6 hours. (Time will vary depending on the group) Please note that you must have sturdy footwear and we recommend dressing in layers to adapt to constant weather changes .

All details with items to pack, a map to the trail head and more will be provided in an email 7-10 days before the hike.

Refund Policy: Refunds or exchanges for hikes will only be issued if requested up to 14 days prior to the purchased hike date. Refunds or exchanges will not be issued if requested after this timeframe.

Emergency Policy: It is our policy to have emergency and medical information on each hiker that is logged with a check in person . Each hiker must ensure that all their medical information and emergency contact information is correct and up to date for each hike.
