Hands-on Pasta Workshop and Dinner at il Pastaio di Eataly

Every day at Eataly, our pastai, or pasta-makers, transform simple ingredients into intricate pasta shapes inspired by the rich traditions of every Italian region using simple high-quality ingredients. Making fresh pasta may seem daunting, but it is a simple luxury that you can enjoy every day.

Join us at il Pastaio di Eataly Sherway Gardens to focus on learning all the secrets behind southern Italian pasta traditions.

In these intimate workshops, you will be seated at our bar where you’ll learn how to master the craft of different pasta shapes from our resident pastaio (pasta maker). You’ll observe as they demonstrate the art and then you’ll try your hand at it, learning some of the greatest generational secrets of the artisanal pasta-making traditions of Italy! Then, savour an antipasto and a pasta dish, specially selected and prepared by our Il Pastaio chefs, paired with welcome prosecco and one complementary glass of wine.

You will be surprised at what you can create, making fresh pasta at home opens up a whole world of authentic — and surprisingly easy — Italian cooking.

In this class guests will:

• Learn about fresh pasta and how to make it at home

• Make a variety of fresh pasta shapes with il Pastaio.

• Sip on wine and learn how to pair the right pasta shapes and sauces

• Enjoy an antipasto and pasta dish prepared by our chef

• Take home the fresh pasta they have made

• Check-in is at Eataly Sherway's Il Pastaio restaurant - check-in starts 5 minutes before the start of class, seating is first-come, first-served
• One ticket purchase is valid for one guest
• Please note, if purchasing a single ticket, you will be seated at a table for two with another individual. Tickets are individually sold and one ticket will give you access to one seat.
• Please notify us in advance at toronto.lascuola@eataly.com if you have any dietary restrictions and or allergies. If we are not notified ahead of time for any allergies/dietary restrictions, we may not be able to accommodate them.
• All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce valid government-issued identification to prove they are 19 or older.
• Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes.
