Description

Co-presented by Dr. Andrew Pinto and Nabila Qureshi, this seminar will explore access to justice in employment law matters as a key social determinant of health.

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify when a health issues is related to a workplace legal concern, and know about resources in the community
  • Support and provide appropriate documentation for a patient who is seeking workplace accommodation
  • Support a patient who is fired or being excluded from opportunities due to a disability
  • Identify when a patient might be experiencing harassment or bullying at work and provide appropriate supports
