The ACLS Provider Renewal course is intended for highly-proficient ACLS providers who regularly direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies, and who will regularly use ACLS skills within their scope of practice. This is a fast-paced course that gives students the opportunity to demonstrate understanding of the core ACLS program (high-quality CPR, high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes) through written and skills assessment in a concentrated program. ACLS Provider Renewal course is a one day course and is valid for two years.

Prerequisites:

-Current Heart & Stroke BLS Provider certification, and

-Current Heart & Stroke ACLS Provider certification OR currently practicing in a critical care environment, and

-ACLS pre-course self-assessment certificate (passing score = 70%)

Course Materials:

An online course link will be sent to your email within 2 business days of registering for the course via Eventbrite. This online course must be completed prior to the in-class class.

***A full refund will be given if cancellation is received greater than 7 days before the course date.

Individual circumstances will be evaluated by the Director of Professional Practice. This may include illness, or family emergency, at which time the offer to defer the course to another date may be provided.

Please note that sessions with less than the required number of participants may be canceled or rescheduled up to 7 days prior to the course.
