Covering topics such as handling phone calls and visitors, recognizing hazards, following home safety procedures, basic first aid, healthy eating, fire safety, and how to use 911 is crucial for empowering youth to respond effectively to various situations. Providing each student with a Canada Safety Council Handbook and certificate further enhances the learning experience and ensures they have valuable resources to refer to in the future.
