Event description
Learn to overcome the horror that is networking, and learn new strategies on how best to navigate this vital marketing task.

About this Event

I Hate Networking! is an enjoyable event designed to encourage creative people to get to know each other. The event combines the educational elements of learning how to network with an opportunity to practice these skills in a safe and friendly environment, as you embrace the discomfort of the whole process and have a laugh.

Tips that will be shared include:

• preparing in advance – get the basics right;

• mastering the art of the introduction;

• overcoming shyness, awkwardness and dealing with difficult people;

• choosing the best networking events, and the all-important follow-up process.

Come for the drinks and food, stay to learn something and make some new connections! This event will help you practice and prepare for the next City of Ryde Creative Meet Up event in June 2020.
