Louis Chan

Prior to joining RBC in 2023, Louis brings more than 19 years of investment research experience having covered Canadian, U.S. and Global equities. Louis holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration degree from the University of British Columbia, and is a CFA charterholder.

Sean joined RBC’s Portfolio Advisory Group (PAG) in 2021, with a focus on multi-asset portfolio strategy and asset allocation. Sean contributes to investment thought leadership through a number of regular publications and presentations. Sean contributes to the investment strategy of PAG multi-asset portfolios as a member on the asset allocation, fixed income, and equity committees, while also a contributor to RBC’s Global Portfolio Advisory Committee (GPAC). Sean has studied history and economics at Queen’s University and Finance at King’s College London.

Shawn is a Canadian CPA and a US CPA. A native of the GTA, Shawn spent eleven years working and studying in the US. Shawn is the principal in SB Advisors. He has a particular interest in planning for business owners, assisting them with their business matters and their family trust and retirement structures. In addition to Canadian tax services, Shawn delivers US services from SB Advisors’ offices, and through his network, provides international tax support more than a dozen countries.
