Conscious Connected Breathwork is a powerful tool involving a three-part breath pattern while lying down. Breathwork holds the potential to facilitate profound transformations within you. Tess will guide you through the experience and create a space of safety for you to be in your body and to process through the emotions and energy that you are ready to release. In this session you will discover the transformative effects of conscious breathing and unlock your potential for emotional and physical healing.

Sound Meditation is an immersive meditative experience, where participants are bathed in sound waves. The frequencies from the alchemy singing bowls can facilitate shifts in brain brain states from a more active state to a relaxed or even dreamlike state. The parasympathetic nervous system is activated, allowing the body to rest. The experience evokes a sense of deep listening, first to the sound of the bowls, and then to the inner landscape of our hearts (where wisdome resides). With some gentle guidance and a sacred container of safety, release and restoration can occur, leaving a sense of calm and invigoration. After we connect with our own hearts, we connect with the heart of others in the room because community is part of the healing too.

LOVE from last year's IGNITE Island Day Retreat:

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart, IGNITE 2023 was an experience I will never forget. The location, the venue, the atmosphere that you created were nothing I ever imagined. It was my first time doing breathwork and you created a safe space to feel what needed to be felt. This retreat reminded me of the kind, passionate and confident person that I am and for that I am grateful to you. I would recommend this retreat to anyone looking for connection and rejuvenation within themselves. I definitely will be attending again."

"IGNITE 2023: I am so incredibly grateful to be invited in to take part of this spiritual healing experience led by two beautiful souls. They provided a safe space to be vulnerable that was easily reflected by they way they paid attention to every detail. It was my first time experiencing breathwork and soundbath and it is only the beginning to a journey I have needed for so long. Thank you for holding me, feeling my energy and supporting me through this first practice of healing. You will forever be part of my heart. I could never explain what I walk away with but I feel brave and alive. Thank you both with much love and gratitude."

MEET YOUR GUIDES

LYN

Lyn Sakari became certified as a meditation teacher in 2017 through Moment Meditation after two decades of a personal practice. Her passion for making mindful and meditation practices accessible to the collective in a safe and supportive environment led her to create 'Sit with Sakari' whose mission is to build community while awakening the individual. A lifelong student - Lyn is also certified in and continously studying: MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), Reiki (Holy Fire lineage), Kirtan (Bhakti Yoga), sound healing and is a sound bath musician. She came to the intersection of these modalities as part of her own journey of awakening. Included in her sound scape journeys are Crystal Tones alchemy bowls which are infused with gemstones and precious metals, thoughtfully selected because of their integrity and resonance. Lyn's set is appropriately named 'Unity Consciousness'.

Lyn's compassionate presence and gentle strength creates the space for others to access the same healing and transformation that she herself has experienced - from the inside out. Lyn is now peacefully alive and in love with life. Her offerings are her love song back to the world; curating an experience of connection and awareness through deep listening. Lyn has had many teachers along her path - 3 of the greatest are her children. When not immersed in her project management work or meditating - you will find Lyn riding her motorcycle or out in nature with her beloved dog.
