About this event

The Indigenous Public Safety Conference will begin with the Pre-Conference Training Sessions from October 22 to 23. Each participant can register for a two-day training session.

Please note that this event is anticipated to sell out and pre-registration is recommended. Onsite registration may not be possible and interested parties are encouraged to join the waitlist.

If you purchase a ticket and are unable to attend the Pre-Conference Training, please contact the National Indigenous Fire Safety Council to have your training registration transferred to a individual of your choosing.

Are there any pre-requisites for the courses?

The NIFSC will be contacting applicants to review pre-requisites for the courses.

Where will the training courses take place?

The courses take place either at the River Rock Casino Hotel and Resort or offsite. Additional details will follow. For offsite courses, participants will meet at the hotel and transportation will be provided to and from the River Rock Casino Hotel to the training site.

Will meals be provided during the training courses?

Lunch will be provided during the training courses. Participants are encouraged to bring water, medications, and any other personal snacks/items that will support a successful and enjoyable experience.

What should I bring to my course?

The NIFSC will provide a detailed list specific to each course outlining the equipment and personal items that participants should bring with them to the training course each day.

Can I register on the morning of the pre-conference training?

Registration is anticipated to sell out before the pre-conference training begins. Please register online to secure your spot.
