Calling all butterflies, families of butterflies, as well as anyone interested in gaining knowledge related to Turner Syndrome!

Having been through a Turner Syndrome diagnosis myself, and having had the amazing people come into my life throughout my diagnosis as well as my own journey into healthcare, I decided to find out if they were up for an adventure! Surprise! I have been working with an amazing group of physicians, mentors, and group of people to put together a conference for butterflies, their families, as well as anyone else who is interested in gaining reliable information! I am ecstatic and so grateful to all involved! We cannot wait to see you there!

Important Note: In order to ensure there are no conflicts in scheduling for both the speakers and attendees, contrary to the original announcement, a final date has been set for July 12th, 2024. See you then!

Registration: Registration will open and tickets will be available on February12th, 2024 right here! Initially, we will be releasing 100 tickets. Admission is free. Details regarding lunch to come on February 11th, 2024. Based on demand, further announcements and information will be released. The official Info for Butterflies Trailer, more information regarding the agenda, and more will be released the day before on February 11th, 2024.

The conference rooms in the Kinsmen Learning Centre on the fourth floor of the Alberta Children's Hospital, next to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation , are booked, and the speakers are set! One speaker will be announced each Wednesday, beginning October 18th, 2023! Let’s work towards ending the stigmas and the misinformation. 🦋

We are amazed by the speakers so for for the conference! Here is a summary! Given the holidays are fast approaching, we will be resuming speaker announcements each Wednesday beginning on January 10th, 2024. We hope everyone has an amazing Christmas and holiday season, and we cannot wait to see you in 2024! There are some big announcements, surprises, and amazing speakers still ahead! Also, make sure to keep a lookout for the conference information throughout the Alberta Children’s Hospital beginning in January when you visit!

Did you know, that even if butterflies may be nervous for the road ahead after seeing outside sources, we would love you to know that there is good news for you in the video below! There are also many safe and reliable sources to gain information on how butterflies are special , how that can impact them, and how your healthcare team can guide you with safe treatment options (there are many after all!).
