About this event

This workshop will provide you with the fundamentals of safe and effective chainsaw operation, including sharpening and maintenance techniques and how to properly fell a tree. At the end of the course, you should feel comfortable operating a chainsaw safely.

This workshop is open to all experience levels.

Please bring steel-toed boots, hearing protection, eye protection and gloves. This is an outdoor session so please dress appropriately. Must be age 16+ to register.

This is a non-certification workshop, taught by chainsaw instructor and expert, Deb Wild.

How do I get there?

Turn off from the Klondike Hwy and travel up Vista Road. Approximately 1 kilometre in, the lot will appear on your right. Look for a sign that says "Caribou Wild". On Google Maps, the general area of the property shows up as "Caribou Wild Mountain Tours". Please look for the sign.
