Course Description
Continuing from where we stopped in Part I, the idea here is to give you an idea of what an R object is (a dataset, a model, a variable, a list, etc.). We will go through some simple script with the goal of get a feeling for the language and not to analyze data.
Topics covered will include:
- Reading a dataset and storing it in R
- The data.frame object
- The parts of a dataset
- Numeric and string vectors
- Some commands for simple calculations
Prerequisites
- R and RStudio installation is required in order to follow along (If you do not have this installed and do not know how, please attend Part 1 of this workshop where we will go over installation)
