Joe Avati is coming back to deliver his hilarious insights on how times have changed, for better or worse, since he grew up as a teenager in the 80’s.
Doors open at 7PM, show starts at 8PM.
Internationally renowned for his inimitable style Avati, who is Australian born with an Italian heritage, is a master of treading the very fine line saying what everyone seems to think but no one dares to say whilst not resorting to the use of profanities or vulgar shock tactic routines in doing so.
In his latest offering WHEN I WAS YOUR AGE… he tackles the 'then versus now' generational differences of today's kids, the complexities of modern day parenting compared to the strict upbringing of yesteryear and threaded throughout all of this he tackles the minefield of cancel culture, the woke brigade and why people are over political correctness. This show is suitable for ages 12 and up!
This is a show for the whole family. Bring your parents to highlight how much they have changed since they were your age, bring your friends to laugh and reminisce about growing up as teenagers when you were that age and most importantly bring your kids so that they know what you went through “when I was your age…”
