JØY Brandt

JØY Brandt is a Brazilian Canadian singer and songwriter from the Northeast of Brazil who has been based in Toronto, Canada, for 13 years. JØY is known for mixing elements of Brazilian popular music with a contemporary and universal approach bringing a huge influence from the state of Pernambuco to her songs. Her music is characterized by a fusion of different segments, including the Afro-pop influence, folk music, and Latin rhythms.

Featuring Stonda, Hamilton Beat Harmonic, Japa System, Mestre Eden Paulo, Sandoval Melodia, Dandha da Hora, Salviano Pessoa and the Samba Reggae All Stars, as part of the 2024 Lulaworld festival.

Is there parking nearby?

There is metered street parking on Dundas Street and Parking Indigo Toronto - 1544 Dundas Street West Additional Green P parking can be found on Bonar Place just north of College Street.

What's the dress code?

There is no dress code in effect for this concert.

Is Lula Lounge accessible?

The front entrance to Lula is fully accessible. We have a movable ramp that allows wheelchairs and walkers to access the dance floor and the elevated dining area on the east side. There is a fully accessible universal washroom on the main floor lobby.

Is there an age restriction?

Since we are a restaurant, minors under the age of 19 are welcome up until 11pm, if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We ask anyone not of legal drinking age to depart by 11pm.

Do you offer coat check?

Please note that during the winter season coat check is mandatory. Coat check is on the lower level for $3 a coat. Please bring cash for coat check.
