In this camp, kids will experiment with papermaking, printing, collage and other fun techniques, and work towards a completed book project. Linda May Henri has a BFA in Visual Arts from the University in Victoria. As an artist she continues to explore various mediums including papermaking, drawing, and painting.

Summer Art Camps at Sunshine Coast Arts Centre:
We are delighted to offer three summer art camps for young artists!
Does your child love to create? Are they curious about art making? Are they keen to learn new skills and techniques? Does the opportunity to be hands-on and learn from professional artists in our community excite them?
Our camps bring young artists together with professional artists to learn skills such as making a book, drawing + illustration, book making, and exploring the wide world of mixed media. Participants will learn and make art in our beautiful studio for most of the day, with breaks outdoors exploring the natural spaces near the Arts Centre. Camp runs 10:00 – 3:00 each day, with a break provided for lunch. Participants must bring their own lunch and a water bottle!

Cancellation 30 days before the first day of the camp will receive a full refund.
Cancellation 14 days before the first day of the camp will receive a 50% refund.
Less than 14 days notice will not receive a refund.
