Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir is made up of almost 60 auditioned members, led by professional musicians. We are a diverse group of individuals, all coming together from different cultures and backgrounds (not just Welsh people!). However, we all have one thing in common: a passion for singing. We love to perform, and always have fun with our music, with each other and with our audiences. If you’d like to experience our music for yourself, then come along to one of our upcoming shows. We would love to see you there!

The Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir presents a wide repertoire of traditional and contemporary choral music with the unique and powerful resonance of a large group of male voices singing in four-part harmony. Our performances reflect our Celtic musical heritage, evoking images of other places and other times from the solemnity of cathedrals to the comradery of the local pub.

Yet, the choir is always ready to stretch the boundaries of tradition to be inclusive of new music, new traditions, and the broad range of ethnicities that comprise our choir and our communities, passing along our love of song to the young performers that we support. The choir is comprised of auditioned singers who have fun with the music, with each other, and with our audiences.

The Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir is motivated by a shared passion to create music that is warming, resounding and infectious – many a tear has been shed, a laugh shared, and a voice raised in song with our audiences!
