Join us for an unforgettable hike adventure along the Bruce Trail in the Milton Area. The 9km hike will take place on the Kythera Hiking Trail, a rocky trail named after the Greek island of the same name.
As we embark on our hike, we will encounter a series of deep cracks in the Escarpment, offering a glimpse into the geological wonders of the area. One of the highlights of our hike is crossing the Dufferin Quarry Bridge, a marvel erected in 1991, spanning a 40m gap in the Escarpment, and featuring an interpretive display on quarrying and geology.
Our hike will continue as we traverse along the edge of the Escarpment, treating us to spectacular views stretching as far as the eye can see. Along the way, we must tread carefully to preserve the ancient cedar trees clinging to the cliff edges, some of which have stood for over 500 years.

The terrain on this hike requires:
- Hiking boots with good traction (running shoes won’t do unfortunately)
- Walking poles if you have them
- Ability to walk at a moderate pace on very rocky uneven ground for 3 hours comfortably

If you’re an intermediate or experienced hiker, we welcome on this chance to experience nature at its finest and join us on this exhilarating hike!
Bus Transportation: Plan to arrive at the pick up point at 8.45am. We will be leaving promptly at 9am and aren’t able to wait for latecomers. We will be dropped off at the same place we started (34 Asquith Ave) around 3pm pending traffic. We won't be offering a car option for this hike.

Let's Hike T.O. is a hiking community open to everyone with a focus on newcomers, people of colour, and young adults aged 20-40. All are welcome on our walks.
