Lady of the Lake is a program featuring two song cycles based on Sir Walter Scott's epic poem, including a new composition by Nova Scotia composer Fiona Ryan. A historical epic of love, loss, war, loyalty, and betrayal in the Highlands of 16th-century Scotland, the song cycle draws influence from folk music traditions and rhythmic patterns of Nova Scotia and Scotland. Featuring Maureen Batt, soprano; Jon-Paul Décosse, bass-baritone; Simon Docking, piano.

We look forward to presenting this program to you in a semi-staged format!
