Join Shayna Keces, Adult Services Librarian at the Ottawa Public Library, at the PAL Ottawa Social Circle on Wednesday 25 September at 4 pm and learn about the wonderful resources available at the Ottawa Public Library including the Musical Instrument Lending Library.

When: Wednesday 25 September 2019 from 4 to 5:30 pm

Where: Ottawa Art Gallery Studio at 10 Daly Avenue

The Ottawa Public Library is now lending out a variety of musical instruments! The collection includes 150 instruments, thanks to a philanthropic donation of $140,000 from Sun Life to the Ottawa Public Library to fund the operating costs. Sun Life has also donated guitars, banjos, mandolins, ukuleles, violins, drums, and portable keyboards.

In addition, the Ottawa Public Library offers a number of resources including downloadable e-books and audiobooks, special programming for older adults on aging and using technology, and Homebound Services for those unable to visit a branch.

Shayna Keces, an Adult Services Librarian specializing in Computer and Technology training at the Ottawa Public Library, has been with the Library for over 20 years, and has worked as a Reference Librarian, an adult program developer, and a technology trainer.
