Come join us at The District at Beltline for a fun-filled event to support Nick and Annika on their journey to Worlds!

Schedule:
7:00 PM - Doors Open
8:00 PM - Interview with Nick & Annika & short keynote address


Location:
The event is held in the 'Lounge' at the District Food Hall. There will be light snacks available and a cash-bar! For those who are hungrier, there is a number of food vendors located just beside.

Why we're fundraising:
100% of the funds raised will go directly to supporting Nick & Annika on their journey to Worlds.
How much will it cost them you ask? Here's a breakdown of their Summer plans:

International Training Camp: ~$2200.
Pan Am Championships in Lima, Peru (July 11-13): ~ 2,500
World Championshps in Ponteverde, Spain (Sept 2-8): ~3,500

All these events are self-funded and play a pivotal role in their long-term athlete development! As these athletes set their sights on competing for Canada at the next Olympic Games, let's help set them up for success.

Erica Wiebe is the reigning Olympic Champion in the sport of Freestyle Wrestling. She is also 2018 World Bronze medallist, World University Champion, and 2x Commonwealth Games Champion.

She is a passionate advocate for the power of sport and volunteers her time as a coach and ambassador with Right to Play, Fast & Female, Kidsport Alberta, and is on the Board of Directors for Alberta Sport Connection and Calgary Amateur Wrestling Association. When not taking people down and/or promoting sport as a tool to create positive social change, she is a consultant at Deloitte in the Human Capital practice.
