Let’s Keep Moving - Active Transportation Summit 2024

The 2024 Active Transportation Summit - co-hosted by BCCC, MOTI and movmi - is a two day conference where planners, engineers, and leaders from local and provincial governments, industry, nonprofits, and academia meet to shape the future of Active Transportation in British Columbia.

The B.C government is aiming to have active transportation and public transit make up 30% of all trips taken in the province. We’ve come far with a 10% increase of riders for GoByBike week, 60M investment in three years to build over 400 active transportation projects and 13 communities embracing micromobility pilots. Yet there is more to do: so this year’s theme is Let’s Keep Moving!

You will be inspired through:

  • Keynote speakers, including speakers from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure
  • Plenary sessions, excursions and workshops
  • Networking with colleagues from across the province
  • Live music and most likely a two-wheel parade along New West's Greenway

The Active Transportation Summit of 2024 is the place to connect with people and communities that keep active transportation moving!
