Let's Talk Science! School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: Science is Magic!

Let's Talk Science is proud to announce the return of our "School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: Science is Magic!". It will be held in the Katz Pharmacy Building at the University of Alberta on Saturday October 29th, 2016. This event is open to the public and runs all day from 10 AM until 4 PM.
Come out on Saturday October 29th to witness magic unfold in the form of science! Classes offered this year include Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, Muggle Studdies, Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts and many more! Let's Talk Science has organized a series of magic-themed hands-on science activities for children ages 5 - 12 to participate in, but everyone of all ages is welcome to attend. All children must be accompanied by adults.
When: Saturday October 29th, 2016 from 10 am to 4 pm. Tickets are available for morning session (10 AM - 1 PM) or afternoon session (1 PM - 4 PM). You will only be allowed entry for the time that you are registered.
Where: Katz Group - Rexall Centre for Pharmacy and Health Research Atrium (enter via the 114th Street entrance, just south of the 87th Avenue intersection).
Please register in advance - this information will allow us to plan appropriately for the day. Morning attendees will not be asked to leave in the afternoon - times are just our way of spreading attendance out over the whole day.
CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
Please include all members who will be coming along with you when registering for the amount of tickets (include yourself and any adults plus children in the total number).
There is no cost to attend this event, but we ask that all participants register and reserve their free tickets online. We will be accepting donations at the door, and any contribution is greatly appreciated.
COATS FOR KIDS & FAMILIES (United Way): This year we will be participating in Coats for Kids & Families and will be collecting winter clothing at School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: Science is Magic!
