About this event

Did you know that more than 80% of teachers in Vancouver have a hungry child in their class? These same teachers have contributed more than $3 million from their own pockets to buy food for their students.

This problem is solvable, and we think we might know a part of the solution.

LunchLAB is a joint initiative of Fresh Roots and Growing Chefs!. Together they've developed a unique model for school meals that makes lunchtime nutritious, educational, and fun. It's also SCALABLE.

The LunchLAB model is more cost effective than many of the current alternatives, and we think it has the potential to spread to every school in the city that wants it.
