While most of us have found a tick or two stuck to our skin after spending time outside, it doesn’t generally cause a great deal of concern. However, it is quickly becoming evident that Lyme disease, a tick-borne, infectious disease, is quickly becoming a serious health concern, especially in the early spring when infections are most common.

Also known as the great imitator, Lyme disease is now being recognized the real cause of so many other illnesses. Chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, infertility, severe vertigo and neurological conditions and even misdiagnosed multiple sclerosis have been linked to this disease.

Lyme Disease can be devastating to those affected, and so on Thursday, May 2nd at 6:30 Harmony Health Clinic will be hosting a presentation in order to help educate the community about this disease.
