About this event

  • 2 hours

Step back in time and experience the warmth and charm of a heritage kitchen with our Vegan Dutch Apple Pie Making Workshop. Every step of the process is a hands-on adventure, from mixing the flaky pie crust to creating the crumb top. And, you’ll learn a little about our local Mennonite history along the way. This recipe is from The Vegan Mennonite Kitchen, an homage to the beloved recipes of the Mennonite Community Cookbook.

Whether you're an aspiring baker, history enthusiast, or simply seeking a unique culinary experience, our workshop offers a slice of the past – and a slice of pie. After the workshop you’ll be able to take your own pie home. Books for sale in the giftshop.
