Event description

Description

Making the Dead Talk is the latest in the Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology Student Union’s (LMPSU’s) highly successful conference series. This year we have five highly esteemed speakers in the field of forensics, a panel event where professionals at various stages in their career will discuss forensics as a career, a live forensics techniques demonstration, and a poster fair that showcases undergraduate talent in scientific research.

Collectively, the conference will present the basic science, the real-life applications, and the legal implications of forensic science. Our goal for this year is to educate and inspire our attendees on the latest developments in forensic science while also informing them about possible career options and providing networking opportunities.

In the weeks leading up to the conference, we will also be accepting questions that the attendees have for our panelists! Please stay tuned to our Facebook page in the coming weeks.

Health breaks will be interspersed among the sessions. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and refreshments will be provided.
