In this MSU Offering, the Instructor will take you through the MarkSystems database structure, showing you how to join data tables and build datasets. You will then use those datasets to write relevant reports and illustrations.

There will be instructor-led conversations and interactive demonstrations on:

• Reporting Requests
• Reporting Types
• Joining Data
• Data Modeling
• Designing Reports

This is all done in Microsoft Excel, the most common spread sheet application in our industry. Other report writing tools illustrated will be Google Data Studio and Crystal Reports. These concepts and techniques are transferable to other report writing tools.

By the end of this MSU Event, you will have the knowledge to know what tables and fields are available, how they work and communicate with each other – and - be able to connect to your database and select multiple tables. And wait until others see your beautiful and well-designed reports!
