Event description

Description

On Monday, July 30th at 6 PM, celebrate the International Day of Friendship by learning the history of this event, while making a friendship bracelet. We will also screen a short video produced by Amiskwaciy History Series about the history of Native Friendship Centres featuring Terry Lusty, a métis historian, singer, writer, and photographer born in Manitoba and now based in Edmonton.

At 7 PM, our media seminar guest Jeff Hunter will discuss, “Story and Collective Imagination.” Using the methods from his Unity workshops, Jeff invites participants to shift paradigms using ancient indigenous principles of stillness, space, and gravity.

Jeff Hunter's Bio

A visionary and a strategic thinker, Jeff is the owner of Soaring Eagles Seminars (SESI) and is a human resource development professional with over 25+ years’ experience in the Sr. Human Resource Development field. His commitment to the community is evident by his significant participation in many regional, provincial and local economic and social development boards.

Jeff creates and facilitates seminars and workshops internationally that focus on assisting people to heal, move forward, and succeed in life and workplaces. He understands the power of continuous learning and growth and continuously seeks knowledge through life experience, profound meditations, elders, master teachers, and from within the ancient ancestral realm.
