Mindfulness for Mental Health
Let's destress
Without mental health, there is no health. There is no greater gift we can give ourselves than to pay attention to the most important part of our health, our minds. We can achieve this by allowing ourselves to be in the present moment and allow our minds to slow down with mindfulness techniques such as meditation and breathwork. It helps us become more aware of our thoughts and feelings, instead of being overwhelmed by them, which helps us ride the waves of life. A big part of developing and maintaining good mental health is to keep stress levels low, and to positively connect with yourself and your environment.
After the mindfulness session we will be providing refreshments and a mindfulness craft.
Join us on Saturday May 11th, 2024, during Mental Health Awareness month for a 3 part Metta (love and kindness) Meditation, led by Award Winning Mental Health Advocate, Wellness Expert and Fourth Generation Meditation Practitioner, Iman Grewal.
Refreshments will be provided.
Space is limited. Tickets must be purchased in advance for all those attending.
