Your Chef: Sue Wiebe
In this demo class, students will sit back and enjoy fragrant tea, while Chef Sue prepares an assortment of recipes from her days catering!
High Teas and Ladies Luncheons Menu:
In the tradition of a British Tea, we will begin with:
- A Warm and flaky Cream Scone served with homemade Blueberry Preserves and “Mock” Devonshire Cream.
On our Savory Tray you will enjoy:
- Delectable Finger Sandwiches
- Traditional Egg Salad
- Cucumber, Cream Cheese and Dill on fluffy sandwich bread
- Mini Shrimp Louis and Avocado Croissants (An authentic New Orleans recipe)
On our Sweet Tray you will enjoy:
- Victoria Cream Cake: a tender vanilla sponge cake filled with Chantilly Cream and Raspberry preserves
- Lemon and pink peppercorn shortbread: buttery and tender lemon cookie with a hint of pepper
- Mini Chocolate Crème Brulé, because Momma needs her chocolate

Want to save the Eventbrite fee? You can register in person and over the phone directly with the store (604) 939-6200. Payment is required when you register - visa, MasterCard, gift certificates are accepted over the phone, cash and debit in person.
We have a 72 hours cancelation policy. If you need to cancel but have not given 72 hours notice, no refund, transfer to another class or credit will be issued, but you can send somebody in your place.
In the event that not enough participants are registered, we would have to cancel the class. We will notify registered participants at least 48 hrs prior and issue a full refund.
Chefs will try to accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions if given 72 hours notice. Please inquire prior to booking if there are any food concern.
