Charting a course toward a sustainable gateway

The Port of Vancouver is Canada's largest and most diversified port, operating across five business sectors and facilitating trade with more than 170 world economies. The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is the federal body responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient movement of marine traffic and cargo within its jurisdiction. With more than 16,000 hectares of water, 1,000 hectares of land and approximately 350 kilometers of shoreline, port operations take place in 16 municipalities and intersect the asserted and established traditional territories and treaty lands of several Coast Salish First Nations.
