Nature's Therapy: Sketching for Mental Health

Join us for a relaxing day of sketching in the beautiful Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area. Let nature be your therapist as you unwind and express yourself through art. No experience necessary - just bring your sketchbook and an open mind. Connect with like-minded individuals and let the healing power of nature soothe your soul. Don't miss this opportunity to prioritize your mental well-being and embrace the beauty of the great outdoors!

Join us for an empowering and enlightening event: Action Anxiety Day. It's time to get loud about anxiety, break the silence, & actively participate in spreading awareness and education about this important topic.

Anxiety is a common yet often misunderstood aspect of mental health. Through Action Anxiety Day, we aim to raise awareness, dispel common myths surrounding anxiety, & underscore the crucial importance of prioritizing mental well-being in our society.

As we gather amidst the serene beauty of the Richard St. Barbe Baker Afforestation Area, surrounded by lush greenery & the calming presence of nature, we will engage in activities designed to promote understanding & support for those dealing with anxiety.

One of the highlights of the evening will be a Plein Air Nature Sketching workshop led by experienced artists. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the natural world as you learn to capture its beauty en plein air, directly from observation. From delicate flora to majestic trees, allow the surroundings to inspire your creativity and soothe your soul.
