About this event

  • 1 hour

Daniella Levy-Pinto is a pedestrian advocate with Walk Toronto who happens to be blind. Quick to share and to laugh, Daniella will open our eyes to her world. She is a wealth of information and experience of what it is like to live in a city like Toronto using her hearing for navigation.

The City of Toronto Accessibility Unit, People and Equity Division is establishing their 5 year strategic goals. We have an opportunity to influence these by writing emails and speaking to the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee by telling our stories about how noise impacts us on June 24th.

If noise bothers you, and you have some sort of a disability or are empathic to those who do, please join us to share your experience - you will find that you are not alone.

Noise pollution is a growing problem around the world and here in Toronto we are taking a data and equity centered approach to noise which is getting the attention of City Councillors and the ear of the City.

Join us to learn more about how we are making a difference.
