Welcome to the NOTL Horticultural Society Summer BBQ & Fundraiser. Join us for a fun-filled afternoon at KENT HERITAGE FARMS where we will be grilling up some delicious food and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts, share gardening tips and support Horticultural students at Niagara College and the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture. What is the cause or organization being supported by the fundraiser?

The funds raised from this event will help support students studying at both the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture, and Niagara College Canada and additional horticultural projects in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

What is the cost of the event?

A single ticket costs $50. A table for 8 costs $350

What time does the BBQ and fundraiser start and end?

The event starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 21 and ends at 5 p.m.

Is there a specific dress code for the event?

Dress comfortably in smart casual. Don’t forget your sunscreen and sunglasses!

Where is the BBQ and fundraiser taking place, and is there parking available?

The event will be held at Kent Heritage Farms, 1139 Queenston Road, St. David’s. There will be ample parking.

What type of food will be served at the BBQ?

Orange almondine salad, caesar salad, potato salad, grilled breast of capon, ribeye satays, sliders - wagyu and brisket burgers, chicken burger, honey & garlic pork and chicken sausage, Indian butter chicken/rice, grilled veggies, vegetarian lasagna, curry paneer, dessert slices and fresh fruit.

Will there be an auction or other fundraising activities during the event?

Yes, there will be door prizes available and 50/50 draw.

Will entertainment or music be provided at the event?

Yes, music will be provided at the event.

Are there any games or activities planned for guests to participate in?

There will be a selfie corner set up, so bring your best smile.

Is there a schedule of events available for guests to reference?

Guests will arrive at 1ish, appetizers will be served and a little later a buffet table will be available.

Are children allowed at the event and are there activities for them?

There are no activities planned for children.

Can guests bring pets to the BBQ and fundraiser?

Regrettably, pets will not be permitted on the property. However, Service Dogs are welcome.

Is there seating provided, or should guests bring their own chairs or blankets?

There will be ample seating for all guests.
