About this event

Intro

We live in a culture that prioritizes yang: always being on the go, with a constant drive for achievement. But constantly being 'switched on' takes its toll. Yin is our counterbalance – the energy of softness, rest, and inward awareness.

When we fail to spend enough time in yin, it depletes our essence (jing), which we rely on to fuel our arousal. In this state of depletion, we find ourselves tired, and disconnected from our sensuality and creativity.

As we enter fall/winter, nature invites us to slow down and move inward.

Nourishing Yin is a 4-week group journey for women with focus on restorative sensual embodiment practices that will fill your cup, and reconnect you to the pleasure that is always available when your body is soft and relaxed.

Format:

Immerse yourself in 8 hours of transformational sessions spread across 4 weeks. Every Saturday in November, join a 2-hour group class that combines sensual and meditative practices, woven together in an arc to create a journey of restorative healing. Each session offers unique tools and experiences to incorporate into your daily life.

A Note on Experiential Learning

This is an experiential class where participants will be learning about their own bodies.

In Session 2 we will be exploring guided breast massage where participants will have the option of removing their tops and following along with the facilitator, learning how to massage their own breasts.

In Session 4 we will learn about creating our own yoni massage ritual. Participants will have the opportunity to explore their own yoni, while lying facing outwards in a circle. Participants are welcome to cover themselves with a sheet if that feels more safe and comfortable.

If you have any questions regarding these practices that may inform whether or not you'd like to participate, please reach out to the facilitator at monica@wilderos.ca
