The 6th annual Okanagan Angel Summit is happening on Thursday, May 23rd! Join us as the top companies deliver their final pitch to our group of angel investors. This is their chance to take home an investment of up to $200K. The top companies will be announced in early May.
After the pitches, as the investor group deliberates a winner, attendees will have the opportunity to hear a unique founder story from Dr. Ray Muzyka. Originally trained as a medical doctor, Ray co-founded the gaming company BioWare in the early 1990s which eventually sold to Electronic Arts for US$775 million in 2007. Ray retired from video games in late 2012 and started Threshold Impact which focuses on sustainable, profitable impact investing – mentoring and angel investing in deep tech social enterprise, health, and medical innovations.
The evening will conclude with a celebration in the Innovation Centre atrium. Refreshments and light bites will be served throughout the event.
