About this event

Classes at the 1909 Culinary Academy combine a hands-on cooking experience with delicious tasting experiences.

CInco de Mayo is a big deal to us at the 1909 and we plan to CELEBRATE!

From a spicy, shredded Barbacoa Beef to Seafood, Chicken, and Crispy Beer Battered Fish, we'll have all of the bases to your meal. Add in Mexican rice or refried beans before adding fresh toppings, fresh guacamole, pico de gallo, mango salsa, and our signature 1909 Chipotle Sauce. You can enjoy all of these ingredients in a taco, burrito bowl, or simply piled high on a plate.

This culinary event is family friendly. Youth (aged 8-17) are welcome to attend with an adult and have discounted pricing.

Sometimes we have leftovers. Please bring your own reusable containers to help us reduce the use of single use plastics.
