Tuesday, April 9: Craft a Poem with Author Jan Jang

Celebrate National Poetry Month with Jan Jang, a local poet and the author of "Pirate Poetry". Dive into a fun-filled workshop where you’ll explore a variety of poetic forms inspired by quirky pirate adventures. Together with Jan, you will craft short poems and discover the joy of poetry.


Tuesday, April 23: Power of Expression Through Poetry

Explore the power of expression through poetry in a fun workshop in celebration of National Poetry Month with Jan Jang, a local poet and author of “Pirate Poetry”. Learn about different forms of poetry using a fun pirate theme and the value of releasing emotions through writing.


Tuesday, May 7: Part 1 - 3D Design with Tinkercad

Dive into the exciting world of 3D design with TinkerCad, a free browser-based program where "If you can dream it, you can build it." Learn how to turn simple 3D shapes into fun designs, and learn how to import and export your creations for 3D printing. This is Part 1 of a two-part series.

A free Tinkercad account is required. Creating the account prior to the program is recommended. Using two devices (a cell phone, tablet or computer with a mouse) is also recommended for this program. This will allow participants to view the instructor and follow along with activities.


Tuesday, May 21: Part 2 - Create a 3D Design with SculptGL

Discover how to craft a 3D model of a delightful bao sculpture with SculptGL, a user-friendly digital sculpting program using just your web browser. Once completed, you can bring your design to a Digital Innovation Hub location for 3D printing! This is Part 2 of a two-part series. After School Club: Part 1 - 3D Design with Tinkercad is recommended but not required.
